Wow! I think that parts of Kansas are astonishingly pretty.
I'm kind of a countryside sort of guy, so I think that some farms are pretty easy on the eye too.

I always wanted to try liquid fueled amateur rocketry. There was that one show on the Science Channel that covered an annual event out in some desert where there were several classes of rockets from small, solid fuel to huge, almost commercial-grade liquid. It was awesome.

Parts of it are. Other parts make Kansas look like Tuscany.

The one thing I really miss about Tennessee, now that I live in Kansas, is being close enough to go watch a sunrise over the mountains. However, also speaking from experience, sneaking out and catching a sunrise over the Flint Hills is a beautiful experience, in itself.
We do have a beautiful state, in some areas. Others are only suitable for high-speed automobile testing. Also, we do get some great sunsets in Kansas... See: Hipstergram picture of sunset, below.

I have been there once, but I was still a fetus. Fortunately, I am going to Israel (as an independent entity, not a fetus) next year.
